Recently visited Oahu, and feel a calling to get in touch with Polynesian roots. I am currently consulting in graphics and Web development for The Magi Corps (aka Holy Land Trust) for the Journey of the Magi project in 2000. I hope to secure employment by summer (once children are out of school) in the islands so husband can leave unfulfilling Silicon Valley job of almost 12 years. If you know of job openings (Christian Missions preferred!) in the islands (computer related...I know MS systems & apps also Internet development and have Instructor's certs for multimedia), would love to know. I am developing a Internet restaurant chain starting with the Wall Street Cafe in Honolulu. We will have a "Taste of New York" menu, 100% private label Kona Coffee and Lavazza from Italy. Some months ago I was down in Australia, nosing around in Perth, and I came across a church group that has a Christian Radio Station. I don't recall it's name, but it's the only one there, and I exchanged e-mail with them and found that they have an active effort in their radio station and they are successfully reaching people for Christ. A similar curiosity prompted me to see what was available tonight. With the mess that AOL made of the Global Net Network, I've not been able to reach them again since then. For what it's worth, it's good to find you people engaged in what you're doing, and actively reaching out to the lost on the internet. I'm not lost. I've been a Christian around 60 or 61 years. Can't remember which, but it was around 1935 or so. I've been in a bible study this evening with church members. It's 11:00 PM here and I'm just winding down so I can sleep. Good to find you here.
